Gary Sanchez

He's hitting .164 with 0 HR in Giants AAA team. 

His first 175 games in the MLB he looked liking a rising catching HR machine hitting 53 bombs. 

He's a guy I wanted to take a flyer on, but he looks cooked.

He's a name that was thrown around here a lot in the offseason and then again when Logan got hurt.

Maybe Arte will take a flyer on him after the Giants cut him.

He went from a $9 million payday last year with Minnesota to a $100k minor league deal this year. Is he really washed up? His numbers last year were not dreadful. We have only one catcher who can actually hit and he's gone for the season.

Austin Wynne, the C that the Dodgers just DFA’d, is a better option than Sanchez, maybe better than Thaiss.

Meibrys Viloria and Luis Torrens are 2 other catchers on the DFA wire right now, keep an on eye on any of those 3

problem is they're all out of options.

I don't think they cut Wallach or Thaiss for any of them.

I was on that train, but I know they won't do it after Lamb hit a HR yesterday. I don't think they wanted to do it anyway, given Nevin's buddies with Lamb from their time in AZ.

if we got Sanchez I think it would cost Thais and Lamb at bats not Wallach.

Gary Sanchez - pass on. this guy. -- he's a DH -- his 'defense' ability as a catcher is limited.

He's really. a DH and third string emergency catcher for teams that can utilize a spot on their 26 man roster for that. purpose.
