Ehh, I feel like if the Angels did that they'd be dooming him to mediocidty for the rest of his career. Whereas if they don't sign him to an extension he'll become a top 10 pitcher in the AL and we'll be arguing for the next three years about whether he's going to stay or test free agency.

Poor Sandoval.

42 career starts, only 7 wins...18 losses. ERA barely over 4.00. 

No offensive support. I'd ask for a trade if this keeps up.
