Tbf couldn't they do that over the phone, or Zoom? That seems like a zoom conversation.

I suppose that depends on the specifics of the conversation. Important budgetary meetings and brainstorming potential targets is a lot easier on person. 

But if there is significance to the cars being there, it may not be a signing, it may be courting. Big money free agents, like Syndergaard, typically have a shot down with a GM, owner and manager about how they'd handle him, how he'd be used, how he'd be marketed, etc. It doesn't mean there's a signing as much as it could be a sign that they're chasing a big fish.

And Big money free agents, there's a lot of them in this market. Could be anyone really.
