Where are they going to play?  Back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s you could walk to the local public school and play baseball on the varsity field.  Nowadays they are all locked up, due to vandalism and/or liability concerns.  You NEVER see kids playing games like "Over the Line" anymore.  Its tough to play baseball when you can't find an open area.

 

Over the line was such a great way to spend the day as a kid.  Later on, I remember playing in some 3 on 3 over the line tournaments and always had a great time.

Nothing specific.  The difference I can tell from my hermit-like existence is the decline of human-human interactions among people of different backgrounds and life experiences.  It was not a trap......
