He's the second Fish drafted by the Angels. In 2006, the Angels drafted Robert Fish in the 6th round.

On the surface yeah, but Haren only ended up giving us 1 1/3 years of good pitching and didn't perform when needed in 2012.

They just drafted Cory Hahn from Arizona State(and Mater Dei before that), who was paralyzed from the chest down in his 3rd collegiate game.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I recall them saying that.

I only remember Cannizzaro being with the Padres early in their history, but come to find out that he was an original Met in 1962.

He must have some incredible stories to tell, since another catcher on that team was the ubiquitous Choo Choo Coleman. Plus he was teammates with a catcher, Harry Chiti, who was acquired and then sent back to the team trading him. Yep, Chiti was traded for himself. lol

That's either a typo, or pretty weird. I didn't see any mention anywhere of him pitching.

 

He definitely was announced as a catcher, for what it's worth. And seems like a guy that could be a nice backup there.
