Going Solar?

Has anyone put solar panels on their house?

We are thinking about doing it and was wondering if you had good companies to look at, any advice, and a rough cost. 
 

I think we want to buy the panels vs the solar lease programs.

Where are you located at?  My buddy installs solar.  He works for a small company, but he knows his shit.  Half his calls seems to be to fix other companies screwups.  

Only info, advice, I have is that if you are looking to install, make sure you have plenty of south facing unobstructed property.
