I mean Bellinger is having an amazing season, he beats Trout in most of those stats.  Trout has done it a lot longer, but no reason to knock Bellinger, dude is incredible right now.

I think a lot of people look at what he's doing and take it for granted. I seriously don't think people realize what a once-in-a-lifetime talent Mike Trout is.  If they did - they'd be flocking to the ball park to see him play. Parents owe it to their kids to go see Mike Trout play.  It's funny how we take his greatness for granted.

Currently, .299 BA puts Trout 12th in the AL, but only 27 pts behind the leader, Jorge Polanco.

He's lapping the field in OPS, currently 170 pts ahead of 2nd place Austin Meadows.   Gallo no longer has enough PAs to qualify.

His crazy walk rates and OBP will have a big influence on his BA. Fewer ABs than those ahead of him give him a real chance if the BAbip gods smile on him a little bit.

His current .301 BAbip is a career-low, discounting his age 19 brief MLB play. 

His BAbip minus this year and that first year is .358, so fair to see he’s been unlucky a bit on balls in play and as consistent as Trout is, we will probably see his BA increase significantly before the year is up.

With Trout it's all from working out. His gym regimen is flat out insane.
