Ryan Madson is back!

Recommended Posts

LOL jk

#Angels RHP Ryan Madson will report to triple- Salt Lake Thursday to begin rehab assignment he said will last "several weeks."

Madson said he respects the #Angels' decision, but added: "I can pitch here today and get people out. That's just how I feel."

Damn, whats going on?

I'm shocked. I thought for sure he was going to be called up within the next couple of days. Hopefully, he's back by the AS break.

Yep. Trade him back to the Phillies and throw in Blanton as a PTBNL.

Boras has tricked two teams into paying Madson money millions of dollars to not pitch for them.

Serious question: who is the last Angels player you can remember that actually made it back from the DL before they were supposed to?  Seeing Greinke come back 3 weeks early while Weaver takes his sweet time with an injury to his non throwing arm made me wonder.

I'd be willing to bet Weaver was playing through a potentially serious back injury (Just like Matt Harrison) even before he broke his elbow. His velocity was way down and he was getting lit up. Awkward fall leading to the fracture coudl well have been a result of compensating for an existing ailment.

No, not at all. Actually its pathetic, but you know that.

As opposed to what you add to every thread...berating every negative poster for being negative during the worst season in Angel history.  Carry on.

What is pathetic about me asking the question, it truly seems to me like every time we have a player go down he takes way longer to make it back than his original timetable.
