Message boards are cruel sometimes.  Actually, quite often...

I don't get the Mota-hate.  I like the guy.  He seems like a solid individual, a stand-up guy - the kind of guy who would be fun to hang out with.  I find some good nuggets of information in his analysis.  I enjoy his insight. 

I actually find something to appreciate about all the Angels broadcasters.  Are they all my favorite? No, but they do provide some value, IMO.  Not everyone is going to be Vin Scully. 

Jose Mota deserves better, IMO.  He's always cordial with fans.  He takes time to interact with us.  He's friendly, he's humble.

I don't think there that many people here that hate Mota but most get a laugh out of his Yogi Berra-ish malprops.

I like having a guy like Mota that at least has some flaw in his delivery now and then instead of some of the cardboard cutout guys that you can't even remember their name because they've never said anything worth quoting.
