The Angels Conspiracy Theory Thread

I'll start.

 

Arturo Moreno has decided to tank the Angels by getting the highest free agent acquisitions the last two off-seasons while atrophying the rest of the staff so that when attendance drops in Anaheim because the team continues to lose, he can cite the lack of attendance as a main reason when he announces a move north to Los Angeles.  He can claim he tried to build a winner, but the Angels lacked the support from the Orange County market.

BTW, let's have some fun in this thread, please, and not resort to name calling or pointing out facts as inconsistent.  This is supposed to be fun.  Don't take it too serious.

 

So, what Conspiracy Theories do you have about the Angels?

Moreno is actually a baseball genius. He deliberately had us tank the past 4 years (hiring Reagins, Dipoto, begging for Pujols/Hamilton) in hopes of having an excuse to finally get rid of Scioscia. Not only did he want to get rid of Scioscia though, he wanted Mike to go manage his nemesis the Dodgers. With that in mind, he would finally rid of Scioscia's fat ass and in effect, ruin the Dodgers too.

 

Can't say I blame him. At least we get a top pick out of this.

for a while thought the players were just subconsciously under-achieving for Scioscia, now I think they might be actively trying to get him fired.

No conspiracy, the Halos are just giving everyone a head start so they don't feel too bad when they win the most games in the league by season's end!
