Good eye Espinosa! Way to protect with two strikes. If you can't hit from either side of the plate as a switch hitter, then you need to give it up and pick one side and try to be at least average there. Where's Cowart?

Trout starts the inning striking out on three pitches, Espinoza ends it in the same fashion. This sucks.

Espinosa strikes out looking again, Cowart might have struck out also but at least he would have been swinging, he swings at almost all pitches.

the difference is that Espinosa usually sucks and Trout usually does not.

in his minimal MLB exposure yes.  He's actually a pretty patient hitter with a good eye.  His biggest problem will be hard contact.
