McCutchen, Beltre and BJ Upton all play for 1st place teams so they must have teammates that are not having slow starts.

Bautista has more homeruns than Trout, Pujols and Hamilton combined.

Kemp and Ethier have Ellis .342, A-Gonz .337, Crawford .307 picking up the slack. Dodgers are 12-12 and only 2.5 back

Stanton is a rising star playing on a crappy team.

You mean the year before.

Dunn had 41 hrs in 2012

Yeah, you're right. He had a crappy avg last year though. But this year is atrocious.

.134/.211/.341, 5 HR.

At least last year he had a .800 OPS to make up for the low avg. So far this year he's not bringing much.

Been meaning to post something similar. You could also add jay bruce. Votto definetely isn't votto just yet. Billy butler is mediocre. Prince fielder has been pujols for the last two weeks, etc. Posey is human.

Flip side, guys like dexter fowler, carl crawford, wells and arencebia are on fire. I doubt anyone wanted to keep wells. No one would have traded trout for fowler, or crawford, etc.

Dunn's average has always been crappy (.238 lifetime), but he is the epitome of the Three True Outcomes. Except in 2011. That year, he only had Two True Outcomes: BB and K.
