But here's the real question:

 

If Pujols couldn't use him of his limbs and had to catch balls in his mouth(no homo), who would be better defensively at 1B: Him or Trumbo?

He probably only moved him down to 5th because the Angels were facing a LHP (his numbers are terrible against LHP's). Since that game, all the starters the Angels have faced were RHP's.

With Pujol's Home to First speed clocked by sundial, why is he in the field?  My only guess is that Sciosh wants to give Trumbo a night off but can't, so he's doing the next best thing.  If the Angels could afford it, Pujols would have been on the DL a week ago.

 

It's a sorry state of affairs when the Angels have no choice but to put a hobbled player in the lineup because they don't have the depth to not have to.
