Let's be honest, even if the Angels keep their 1st round pick, they'll probably trade the prospect in a year or 2 afterwards anyway. So I'm all for bringing Kendrick back and losing the pick

Would you all be ok signing Howie and Cespedes? So you would not lose your first rounder for signing Cespedes but you would for signing Howie. I personally would rather sign Freese, only because of no draft pick attachment. Also before I go with the, "I don't care about draft picks because the Angels always screw them up" theory, I will wait and see what Eppler's draft strategy is.

WOuld love Cespedes and Kendrick, but I'm surprised people still keep holding out hope for a Cespedes or Upton. Arte's comments a month ago seemed pretty definitive to me and since that point we haven't heard about the Angels being linked to any of these people.
