He was one of the relievers who I was looking at as possible reclamation projects for this team. Swing and miss stuff, prior success. This bullpen is thin so I'm fine just bringing in a ton of guys like this and hoping to strike lightning with one of them

If you buy his 2014 campaign as the norm and not the outlier, than this may be Eppler's best move yet. That's a pretty big if, though.

Guerra and Albuquerque are the kind of relievers I like.  High 90's gas, good K numbers.  A bounce back year from Morin and I think we are set in the pen.

Nope, cutting back costs so names longer than Trout will be shortened. He will be Albi,

His BB rate of 13% happened.  The last couple of years he's had some trouble getting LHers out.  

 

He's a nice add.  I would like to see him add a change up to his repertoire.  It really helped jepsen with the above issue.  

 

If not, then he's a righty specialist.  Which is fine, but decreases his flexibility.
