i dont think so... gomes had the best shot and hes 6'1, Crisp is 5'10".  no im sure crisp being more athletic than Gomes has a better vertical, but even Gomes needed about another 4inches or more to get to that one it seemed.

I don't know how high that wall is out there (it's pretty high) but the ball hit off the very top of it.  A foot higher and it would have been a HR.  I don't think anyone would have caught it.

 

Just found it.  According to the Royals website, the wall is 8 feet high.  The ball hit about 7.5 feet up the wall.  That would have taken a pretty monster jump by someone to get that.

I don't think anyone would have caught that one.  The collision had no bearing, as the ball was a good foot above the gloves.  It would have to take a Trout like catch (against Baltimore) to catch that.

I'm not so sure, I think Gomes got in Fuld's way and made him a bit hesitant, but again...that;s mostly on Otero.

the wall looked higher than 8' to me, but if that's what it says, then so be it. nobody was catching that ball, it would have taken a troutian effort to catch that ball. it was a rocket high off a tall wall. i thought it was out off the bat. hosmer lost his back foot on the follow through just enough to rob him of a little power, it was a 1' or 1.5' from going out.
