There are neighborhoods in north Ontario (insert Neil Young joke here) that are on par with Pasadena/South Pasadena. A friend of mine just moved there and her house is unbelievably beautiful. Though on the other side of the coin I have a good friend that lives in south Ontario and I even hate driving to his place in the middle of the day because of how sketchy it is.
