Getzlaf is unstoppable. I just hope Perry comes back the way he always has played. The two of them with Belleskey are gonna be fun to watch.

That was a great game last night.

 

My favorite thing about BB lead teams is how every player on the team contributes.  You become fans of guys like Tim Jackman who on other teams would rarely see the ice.

 

Palmieri was a beast the last two nights.  Great to see this team keep rolling without Perry.

I'm confused.  Since when is winning by more than 1 goal allowed?

I believe it's allowed when facing AHL level organizations such as the one in Edmonton. At least that's the impression I've gotten over the last nine years.

After the first period.  This game against Toronto just feels like one of those games where no matter how much we dominate, the bounces are not going to go our way.

The Saku Koivu pregame retirement ceremony was unreal.  If you didn't get a chance to see it try to find it online if you were remotely a Saku fan at all, very moving pregame video and Saku's speech didn't leave a dry eye in the building.

Still can't play a 60 minute game. Glad they managed to muscle it out though. 3-1 on this Canadian swing. Finish it off strong tomorrow in Ottawa!

Man. I'm jealous. With the fan atmosphere, or lack thereof in Anaheim we could never have anything like the Habs fans had for Saku. Oh well. Life as a west coast sports fan.

Ugh the game didn't record tonight for some reason. Whatever, just watched the highlights. Beautiful goal by Beleskey. Good to get right back to winning.

No doubt. But the same goes for the Angels. We just don't have that fan atmosphere that other major metropolitan areas have.
