Halos reassign RHP A.J. Schugel to minor league camp & option LHP Doug Sisk to SLC & outfielder Travis Witherspoon to double-A Arkansas.

Have the Angels given any indication where they are going to start Cowart yet?  Otherwise, I don't know how good they will be but they will certainly be older than most AA teams.

Think Spoon struggled a bit when first coming up to AA, hopefully he can adjust.

Yeah I'm hoping a good season out of Spoon with work on a possible promotion in the summer to AAA.

man, i was thinking Witherspoon had a shot with AAA. Im guessing he will be called up there before too long

My son got Spoon's autograph at Spring Training this year when he was walking up from the lower fields.  I recognized him and asked him if he'd come sign an autograph for my son (I think he was pretty delighted to hear his name called).  So I said "Travis thanks for the autograph and we hope to see you in the Bigs soon" to which he responded "Oh you will."  I liked the confidence and wish him well.  This is an awfully hard outfield to break into though.
