As a neutral fan, a good game. Arizona bullpen finally cracked. Home run ball edged out speed and small ball. This time. Lots of second guessing with some D back decisions. Garcia is deadly right now.

Ohtani is the superior player. Adolis Garcia is the most valuable player thus far.

Make two awards if needed.

They already have a World Series MVP award. Troy Glaus won it in 2002.

I know I still don't post much since my introduction post, but y'all exhibit exactly why I finally did sign up here....for the love of the game. Rangers fans get just as frustrated with players who aren't producing as you all do.  When Texas loses a game, I just have to turn off my local sports radio,  MLB and MLBNR until they win again. 

But, it just proves fans can still be human while being division rivals....unless you're from Houston.

I lurk one of their forums and JFC they're just filled with hate beyond belief. I never post anything there, ever, but here are a few from tonight:

"Sickening to think the Rangers in one year of serious contention will match what the Astros did in...

Only year of serious contention."

I don't have a clue what that means, but it ain't full of love. 

This one is a little easier to pick up on.

****ing *******. I hope the 'Stros figure out how to pitch to this piece of ****.

I know it's been awhile since y'all won it all, but  the fact you still talk about it with such joy just makes me want it that much more this year.

Hopefully we won't get to 2 strikes... twice...and lose it again.

I followed it. He wasn't wrong. They just forgot how to win.

Like everyone kept saying, the Rangers have to come back to Earth eventually. But, rather than just float down, they came down like a Russian Soyuz without a parachute.

Everyone was calling for Chapman's head. We quit hitting with RISP. 

We just consoled ourselves with "well boys, it was a good run but now we know what we need in the in the off season".

Y'all know the scene in Moneyball where Brad Pitt just sits there with a radio? Turning it off and on?   That is 100% me.  

 

I'm sure y'all have seen the Garcia homerun in the ALCS that shows the Ranger fan at MMP? He was my best man. We played men's league baseball together before switching to mens hockey. I told him he got more highlight time than Altuve. :lol:

A rod is a "pretty" decent analyst honestly, but has not become any more likeable to me. Ortiz is very likeable, but needs to be commentating for the ESP channel (insert Taylor racist reaction). Jeter and his shiny bald head is fine.
