Anybody see this story about the O’s announcer?

Just a super weird story. This happened like ten days ago, but the announcer got suspended indefinitely apparently. Dude did nothing wrong. It wasn’t even particularly negative or critical. Apparently Angelos is just real life Kendall Roy.

Yeah, it's absurd and I'm glad the announcers for other teams have been calling out the Orioles management. Nothing he said is remotely negative--and if they're pissed off about the on-screen text, the announcer didn't write that, obviously.

Huh?  Did I miss something here?  I was waiting for him to use a racist word or something.  They suspended him for what now?

Wait... what the hell did he get suspended for? Reading stats off of the broadcast? The Orioles have sucked against most teams in recent years hahaha. That is insane and I am very confused by this.

Seems to me the issue is from the people in the truck. I would assume the director or producer developed that slide. Announcer is just doing his job.

BS for announcer but god this story is getting overplayed.  I know this was from 22 hours ago, that’s not a knock against OP. 
 

now feels cliche to support the guy while on the air.
