Today's game is the rubber match for the series win.

I think it's also the rubber match for the Halos to discern between pretenders and contenders.

Can't drop the series to a sub .500 team at home, before traveling to Tejas for 4 games.

Hyperbole!

Its not a make or break game.  Its important but there will be more important games in the future.

This game is impoertant, losing today would make it a 4-2 home stand which is acceptable.  But a win sends us to Rangerland ready to take 3/4.

It’s a situation where a fan says, “they must win this series if they want to be contenders (in early June)” then if the Angels win they’ll need to continue to win series, without losing a series, to be contenders in those fans minds.  It’s silly and unrealistic.

I didn't say the season would be over with a loss today.

A win would go along way in establishing the team as a contender at this juncture of the season.

If that's not agreeable to you, then carry on.
