I cannot emphasize enough how badly Jo Adell needed to do that.  Not only for this single game against the Cubs, but for himself, his future and the Angels.  That swing I just saw from him, showed the exact intensity and aggression I've seen from him on MiLB.tv, in Salt Lake.  I've never seen him have that in the major leagues, not yet anyway. 

It's good to know it's there.

I guess he needs a third of the games off on top of taking a third of each game he plays in off

Angels' Batting Average with runners in scoring position is over .300 with Rendon in the lineup and under .200 with him not it.

So, like it or not, his playing time will need to be managed very carefully going forward if they're going to maximize their return on investment.

It is what it is.
