O'Hoppe out for the season? Not surprised. That pain display on Monday fits torn labrum perfectly.

On balance, Philly so far has the immediate beneficial advantage of the trade with the breakout start by Marsh. But Marsh is not a catcher and catcher has been an open sore spot for the Angels for years. Hopefully, O'Hoppe can return next spring at full strength. But shoulder injuries can be tricky things.

I know we are only 21 games into the 162 game season but this feels like a must win game. Feels like if the Angels fail to win this series any hope of making playoffs will be dashed away, Ohtani will be gone and Trout ask for a trade. Is that too dramatic?

Marsh has a babip of .500 so he will come back to earth at some point.

Get list of players who can be traded. Renfroe, Urshela, Esteviz and Ohtani.
