Carlos Perez logged all of 28 games in the majors dating back to 2018. So he has been bouncing around in the minors for nearly five years and is only in the majors now because he is dirt cheap and the A's need a backup catcher. At age 32 I doubt he has unlocked the key to becoming an offensive powerhouse.
