The Angels host the worst team in baseball only to discover, perhaps they are in fact the worst team in baseball. How do you lose two at home to the Astros? How do you get shut out by the Astros? How do you tip your hat and turn the page on this debacle? They are now Team Oreck because of their astounding ability to suck.

Going 3-5 against the Astros proves that the Angels have no business being anywhere near the postseason. They've been given a huge opportunity with their schedule to get back in this and they are pissing it away.

This.

Jerome Williams pitched his heart out last night. Mike Trout played his heart out last night. The rest of the team was sh*t on a stick.

Mike Trout who got picked off at second in what would have been a big inning?

Or Mike Trout who ended the 7th with a runner on second?

Or Mike Trout who ended the game with a man on third?

Mike Trout was as much to blame as anyone else out there last night.

Jerome is one of my favorite players on the team and has arguably been the best pitcher on the roster so far this season.

And of course, it looks like Scioscia is going to screw that up. .

Sometimes it's hard being a fan of this team.

I think back to the preseason, when people were speculating about how many more wins we would have in 2013 because the Astros joined the division. They're handing us our asses.
