The Angels could offer to let Bumgarner DH on Ohtani pitching days too.

(Not really serious, but it has been mentioned that he really likes the NL because he gets to hit, and he was floated as a possible DH in SF interleague games before, either as an org idea or something he pushed for)

I don't really understand why one is held in higher regard than the other. Neither had really hit to a 5 star hit tool in the minors, Thaiss was a first round pick.

Jo Adell is light years ahead of both of them, and I think Adams is going to be a better hitter than Marsh.
