Hard to blame Eppler for Cahill being a disaster.  Nobody saw that coming.  He was a decent pitcher with a low home run rate.  Then, poof.  Outfield wall advertisements or something.

How is he ever supposed to learn if he's constantly pulled?  Ausmus makes no sense unless he is trying to burn his bullpen so the Angels finish with a higher draft pick.

Cahills only given up one run.  Let’s see how it goes.  He may prove to be useful out of the pen. 

It is funny how he immediately and spectacularly gives up a bomb tho. 

It is what it is.  DFA’ing him is also not great.

Skaggs is 28 and has pitched in 96 MLB games since 2012. If he hasn't learned by now, what's another batter here or there?
