When was the last time an Angel pitcher pitched a CG shutout???

 

For some reason i thought Ramirez did so earlier in the year but my other guess would be Weaver?

I think it's just more frustrating it's the twins than anything. That ragtag team won 50 some games last year with mostly same team and were mostly likely gonna lose out wc to them. I can speak for myself anyways that is frustrating.

This could have been a backup game to the Dodgers and Giants tonight but the local cable switched ESPN to ESPNNews. Both ESPN games tonight were in markets (M's and Giants) that claim where I live. ESPN had no backup games.

Anything can happen in baseball. The Astros were just swept by the Oakland A's. Four game sweep. Twins could easily have a little losing streak before this is over.

It's Detroit tho 7 games that sucks. They have no pitching no pen no anything. Gone thru the motions over 2 months. They are trying hardest to beat that streak tho.

A couple of weeks ago it was they're playing the White Sox. The Sox won 3 of 5, although they did lose the next 3 a week later, but the Sox did win 3 of 8 against the Twins.

Detroit does have some entertainment value. Tigers starting catcher McCann got tossed early by the plate umpire over strike zone issues. The ejection got Ausmus also tossed. A little while later, Detroit's substitute catcher :let" a fastball get by him straight into the umpire's facemask. He was dazed for a bit.
