The prospect of a post-season with us in it but no Athletics, no Rangers, no Yankees and no Red Sox is an appealing one indeed. If the Braves weren't doing their annual September swan dive (at least since Fredi Gonzalez took over), it would be pretty much perfect for me.

 

I would have liked another opportunity to send Derek Jeter home, though - especially for the last time. One more for the road, for old times' sake.
