NY public defender resigns after tearing down Israeli hostage posters: report

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4298742-ny-public-defender-resigns-israeli-hostage/

A New York public defender has reportedly resigned after she was filmed tearing down posters of hostages missing in the Israel-Hamas war.

The New York County Defender Services said that Victoria Ruiz, 36, had resigned “effective immediately,” Fox News Digital reported.

The group StopAntisemitism posted a video on Sunday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, of Ruiz taking down posters of the missing hostages.

Why put up hostage posters in a city that's 6,000 miles away from where the hostages are being held?

Do the Israeli's then also need to understand that electing a government that bulldozes homes, displaces families and kills Palestinians on their own land leads to terrorism?

So the Ottoman Empire and Muslim terrorist didn’t exist prior to 1947? The Palestinians have walked away from multiple deals and ultimately chose to fight through Hamas. The people in Gaza aren’t innocent bystanders. Palestinians embrace terrorist. The children unfortunately inherit the decisions of their parents.

I’d prefer an America where you can believe what you want (wrong or right) without repercussions.  I disagree with a lot of people I respect on many issues.  I don’t call them anticalsitic and then go on Twitter and try to ruin their lives.  I guess it’s just another example of how awful social media is.

This is one of the reasons I respect your view. The Jews are partly in this situation because they’ve played both sides of the political spectrum. They should have flipped off the libs and hurried these savages 50 years ago.

At least you're honest and admit that you simply see the Palestinians as less than human.

There are very few cultures in the world that value human life less than Muslims. I simply understand them for the savages they’ve been for over 1500 years.
I know libs like to define land rights by arbitrary dates and skin color so Arab muslims today are credited as the rightful owners of the Middle East. In Reality, they murdered and raped their way through Jewish and Arab Christian communities 1500 years ago.
Since the beginning of time the middle eastern borders have shifted and there isn’t a Palestinian living there today that can truly trace their origins beyond the British mandate. Hell if you follow their own argument they can’t even agree to their origins. In a nutshell, they’re basically dipshits from everywhere that were Arab social rejects or leftovers from failed offensives against Israel. They have no historical significance nor have they ever been in any Arab plan prior to the bullshit PLO argument. There are plenty of Arabs who live somewhat peacefully in Israel. The fact that the Palestinians can’t simply illustrates they’re nothing more than a terrorist breeding pool who seeks to destroy Israel. Europe had damn near  lost its sovereignty to illegal Muslim immigrants fleeing conflict. Muslims from all over the globe can escape Isis and every other dictator yet these dipshits aren’t capable of moving? They do t intend to move because their some purpose is to terrorize Israel and serve as a terrorist recruiting propaganda.

It's refreshing. I'm tired of Blarg dancing around it.

There’s a lot of similarities with Palestinians and the black community. Both play victims when they’re ultimately responsible for their current status in the world. The black community is a violent unlivable hell because its citizens refuse to stand for right and willfully ignore the criminal behavior of friends and family. The Palestinians do the same damn thing with the terrorist in their communities. Why? Both societies have allowed racial and religious idolatry to warp their values and justify barbarism.

Pot kettle etc.

No, you are being a jackass. You ignore every fact that has been presented then flip that into some sort of racial prejudice argument. As if the one side of this conflict has to be the victim because of skin color. News flash, both sides are multicultural. Both sides hate each other and it has been a biblical sins of the father handed down over generations conflict for 70 years.

But go ahead and try to look so smart and progressive by supporting the cause of the internationally recognized terrorist run state of Palestine and Gaza because you think it's about skin color. News flash, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other neighboring countries don't like the Palestinians either and won't take them as refugees.

They must be racists.

Hamas Says Goal of October 7 Attack on Israel Was to 'Overthrow' Status Quo (businessinsider.com)

Hamas leaders say they have no regrets after the October 7 attack and the goal was to 'overthrow' the status quo

More than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed in the month since Hamas' terrorist attacks inside southern Israel, the group's health ministry in Gaza says.

But Hamas officials say the mounting death toll, believed to include thousands of children, has not caused the group to regret its actions in southern Israel, which Israeli officials said killed 1,400 people.

In fact, Hamas leaders say that their goal was to trigger this very response and that they're still hoping for a bigger war. It's all part of a strategy, they say, to derail talks over Israel normalizing relations with regional powers — namely, Saudi Arabia — and draw the world's attention to the Palestinian cause.

Hamas, these officials say, is more interested in the destruction of Israel than what it sees as the temporary hardships faced by Palestinians under Israeli bombardment.

With the October 7 attack, Hamas says it was less interested in merely governing the Gaza Strip and its more than 2 million inhabitants — some of whom protested its authoritarian rule and economic mismanagement in the weeks and years ahead of the latest war with Israel — than it was in fighting a war in the name of Palestinians everywhere.

"Hamas's goal is not to run Gaza and to bring it water and electricity and such," al-Hayya said...

The Hamas spokesperson Taher El-Nounou told the Times that, rather than end with a cease-fire now, his group would prefer for the conflict to expand.

"I hope that the state of war with Israel will become permanent on all the borders and that the Arab world will stand with us," he told the Times.

Facts, Taylor. The people of Gaza did not want this conflict but Hamas is using them as cannon fodder for press releases to create the river to the sea war.

They are being racist if they actually won't take in Palestinian refugees.

The U.S. government has done far, far worse than Hamas over a much longer period of time, yet nobody is suspicious of American citizens.

The status quo is a neighboring country bombing and invading their land for decades.

You stupid dope, they are all related by marriages from centuries past. They won't take them because they don't want a repeat of Arab Spring. They have their own stable governments that are independent of Iran and don't want that interference as it is playing out in Palestine.

Yeah, because the Palestinian citizens are all jihadists, right? Even though 50% of them weren't alive when Hamas took power. And Israel endorsed Hamas in that election by the way.

Lmao. When has Palestine ever invaded Israel?

I guess you are not familiar with current or past events. But go ahead with your support of a terrorist controlled state that is killing its own people to try and get others to commit genocide. It's so progressive.

After the Arab-Israeli War of 1948, show me an example of Palestinians invading Israel's borders.

By the way, did you know that when the U.N. established Israel, 750,000 Palestinians who had been living in that land were forcibly displaced?

Again, you are intentionally ignoring the viewpoint of them by their neighboring countries. You keep trying to pin this on me where every step of the way I show you it is about them, their actions, their willingness to be subjugated by terrorists instead of actually, for once, stand on their own and make decisions that are about their own self governing and not being a proxy war pawn.

You have never understood the Palestinians problem has never been Israel. It's been outside sources wanting the destruction of the Israeli state.
