Gene actually is a nice guy.   My wife had Gene and Paul on her show last week, yeah it was promotion, but every time he has come on, he has been very charming, shared stories, taken photos, and signed autos.     Yeah he's a money whore, but there are millions of others who either do the same, or fail at trying to be as lucrative as him.

Totally agree.  Their 70's stuff is simply killer.  Love Gun is another great album.

KISS has been milking the merchandise thing since the 70's.  It is nothing new for them.  As for their careers being over as rockers, they still are one of the most successful live acts in the world.
