What did you think of Sunday Night Crew?

I wasn't overly impressed - to me, they come off as sorta boring in a Gubi way.

At one point in the game, Richards was just FILTHY,

dominating Yankee hitters,

and they were just blabbin on about Girardi's wife and other nonsense not related to the game.

Finally, after GR struck out his 2nd batter of the inning

Buck interrupts Kruk and says so & so strikes for the 2nd out of the inning ( sorry I forgot who was up)

and then they go right back to what they were blabbin about 

They are TERRIBLE!

Schulman is ok, Kruk shouldn't be broadcasting any games.

 

Don't get me wrong...Tanaka looked great...but that's the best I've seen Richards pitch and he was mostly ignored.

 

There aren't a lot of announcers/color guys that are 'great' or interesting, though.

i heard about it on espn, and that's as much as you're going to get from me.

 

 

they have yet to make a telephoto lens powerful enough for me to want to get that close to that part of the krukster. and that includes the hubble telescope, which would still put me too close to kruk.

They seemed ok to me.  I thought it was funny when they were speculating that maybe Tanaka needed more rest between starts since he gave up a couple of runs and threw a few pitches outside of the strike zone.

They bothered me less than the idiotic behind-the-backstop camera angle on the first pitch of every at-bat. Whoever thought that was a good idea should get a sledgehammer to the groin.

They are better than Brent Musberger, Dick Vitale, Joe Buck and Tim McCarver.  Still not much of a standard, but if I have to listen to them to watch the Angels, I can endure.

Agreed. I thought they were ok. After listening to Joe Morgan and Jon Miller for all these years, anyone would be an improvement.

I did miss Jon Miller's pronunciation of Carlos Beltran's name.
