Darren O'Day - 53.1 IP, 53 SO, 1.05 WHIP, 2.36 ERA

Francisco Rodriguez - 34.1 IP, 41 SO, 1.05 WHIP, 2.10 ERA

Joel Peralta - 52.1 IP, 55 SO, 1.11 WHIP, 3.10 ERA

Fernando Rodney - 49.2 IP, 66 SO, 1.49 WHIP, 3.99 ERA

Latroy Hawkins - 54.1 IP, 40 SO, 1.27 WHIP, 2.98 ERA

Darren Oliver - 41 IP, 32 SO, 1.27 WHIP, 3.73 ERA

Jordan Walden - 41.2 IP, 48 SO, 1.06 WHIP, 2.59 ERA

Kevin Gregg - 47.1 IP, 41 SO, 1.33 WHIP, 2.85 ERA

Will Smith - 22 IP, 23 SO, .95 WHIP, 3.27 ERA

We would be in the wild card hunt with this bullpen

Alex Torres - 40.0 IP, 50 SO, .80 Whip, 1.35 ERA, 4-0. Arguably the best reliever in the AL.

Kazmir will haunt us forever.

Moral of the story should be that the Angels don't participate in trades for pitchers with the Rays or Braves ever again.

Didn't Oliver say he was retiring if he couldn't pitch for the Rangers, though?  I don't put that one on the Angels.

 

Your facts are not wanted here. Need to focus on blaming EVERYTHING on the Angels.

I forgot about Torres as I just saw his name in a rays box score. The haren, greinke, and kazmir trades were all rapes

Only a dumbs_it trades a solid lefty prospect for an iffy guy even at the time in Kazmir.

Now let's compare those ERA's to our great bullpen!

 

Losing O'Day was one of the great F-ups by the front office.

Losing KROD and going with Fuentes for what?  About a 2 million saving was another great F-up (I don't care how many here do not  like how the guy acts when he saves a game.  Hell, I just want to see a guy SAVE some games!)

Not sure why we gave up on Peralta.

I am not missing Rodney one bit

Allowing Darren Oliver to leave and go to a rival (Texas) was another major F-up!  At least offer arbitration and get a draft pick for him.

Hell I don't even remember Will Smith!
