Moore has only pitched once since May 4, so he definitely should be available (especially with an off-day tomorrow).  Same for Estevez: he has only pitched once since May 5.

I didn't post in yesterday's game day thread because it was my scheduled AW day off.  Thanks @Chuckster70.  He's trying to keep me fresh for the season.

Nah they can get a couple innings out of Barria or Davidson if Canning only goes 5.

Estevez for 2 innings is realistic? He's only gone more than 1 inning once, 1.2 innings back on April 25...

It was a off the cuff remark.

But, yeah it's just as realistic as Canning throwing 7 scoreless.

I think this is a big game for the team, so with the day off tmrw if Moore and Estevez have to go 2 each then so be it.

But I hear ya...either way they get it done as long as they end up in the win column.

I fear it’s too late, the bloom is off the rose for many of us.  Nice try by Chuck though.

Go Canning, at least 7. If you are a starter and can't throw enough strikes to go that far, it's almost, but not quite, a fail. Of course you'll never win if your only run comes from a rookie shortstop.

Definitely. If they go 2-4 on this home stand, there goes all of the momentum that was built up during the 5 game winning streak. Plus, they really need to start beating the Astros. The Astros have been dominating the Angels for about 7 seasons now.

Hopefully the Angels can do better today than they have in the past against Javier.  He's 3-1 with a 2.59 ERA and a ridiculous 52 K in 31 1/3 IP against the Angels in his career.
