I wonder if Trey Hillman ends up replacing Gallego at 3B.

He has experience as a 3B coach in the majors and was hired last offseason by Minasian to work in a player development role. Having a former MLB manager on Nevin's staff could also be beneficial.

I think Gags was brought in initially to work with player development as a guy in charge of the minor league teams.   The Angels could use help there so it may be a fit.
