I don't think there's any such thing as a season ending or season saving game unless it's in September against your division rivals who you're chasing. That game vs Texas last year was deflating.

Hard to get too excited until this team actually gets to .500. When/if they do that, that's when the "new season" will begin

yeah.  we snuck a win vs. the vaunted Scott Feldman.

This is the most unsatisfying Angels win for me ever. Barely beating an awful team with Weaver starting against a pitcher they normally dominate. Plus the sweep by the Astros still fresh in my mind, but I hope you're right.

I will say this, hopefully that go ahead hr LATE in the game gives this offense the jolt it needed to start mashing again

It's interesting cuz the players were about a jacked as I've seen  this year yet my first reaction was almost entitlement.  Maybe something like that means more than we realize.

First signature Pujols homerun that I can remember.

I can tell you that we were all spoiled when this type of home win was commonplace most of the years between 2002-2009. Fall behind early, solid middle relief, rally late with a big clutch hit and shut the door. I can't remember how many times we were down at home 3-1 in the middle innings and I'd call my brother and say we got them right where we want them and, more often than not, Rory would get to say "Just another Halo Victory!". These type of home wins have been almost non-existent for the last 3 1/3 seasons. I've almost forgot what that's like. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon until I see A LOT more of these, but hopefully, this becomes contagious.
