I agree (about the RISP).    About that one part of Upton's game, in the Fonz' best words, I was wrrrrrr.   I was wrrrrrr.   I was not right.

That said, defensively, he will need to move mainly to 1B/DH by ST 2021, assuming the OF becomes Adell, Trout, and Marsh by then.

Btw I like Goodwin and consider him a very good 4th outfielder. But saying he's better than Upton is dumb and shortsighted. He also has a -6 DRS in LF this year. Upton is -7. They both suck on defense.

Goodwin is who we thought him to be.   If Calhoun's option isn't exercised, then Goodwin is a perfect platoon partner with Hermosillo to start 2020, until Adell is ready.
