That's just Scioscia leaving him in too long. This is obviously an all-hands-on-deck, bullpen game. Chavez wouldnt pitch long, anyway.

So, this removes Norris as a potential set-up guy or closer. I didnt realize we were so deep there, that we can use Norris as a "starter".

The guy got $200k for his 20th start but Arte is now cheap?  Weather, I've seen this a few times and to me it's kinda crazy.  The guy was an ineffective starter.  As far as Sosh leaving him in to long, that's proof he isn't a stater.  He pitched six full innings 7 times out of 21 starts. If that's Sosh pitching him too long then I really don't know what to say.

You make a good point about the 200K. A cheap owner would never have let him get there.
