Should be fun during a session when the lights go out. They all play "Who's in my mouth"?

EXCLUSIVE: 'It's frightening for society.' Thousands of convicted pedophiles in California are being released from prison in less than a year for horrific acts, including rape, sodomy and sexual abuse of kids under 14, DailyMail.com investigation reveals

One offender in the database is Reseda, resident Carlos Alexander Nahue, 48, who was convicted of 'continuous sexual abuse of a child' in 2015.

His Los Angeles court records say he was charged in October 2014 and pled no contest to the crime in January 2015 – but was sentenced to just two days in an LA county jail and five years of probation.

He now lives one block from Royal Montessori School daycare and three blocks from Reseda Elementary School, according to the Megan's Law database.

Noah Thomas Holt, from Watsonville in Santa Cruz County, was convicted in 2013 of lewd acts with an under-14-year-old, child pornography possession and indecent exposure.

The 31-year-old was convicted on a no contest plea in December 2013. But Megan's law data says he was released within a year, and according to his Facebook page he started a new job at manufacturing company Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley, California in 2014.

Not sure why a bunch of Brits care.  Gonna reserve judgement until Redondo posts the Fox News article.

https://www.latimes.com/environment/story/2022-11-30/fifth-of-california-water-agencies-expect-drought-shortages

Nearly 20% of California water agencies could see shortages if drought persists, state report shows

I know we've debated the lack of water projects around the state, and the barriers to pleasing everyone.  I think everyone, except Lifetime, agreed that the paved channels that are the LA River are a travesty, but no one can determine how best to restore it.  I have the unfortunate honor of commuting the 710N every day from Long Beach up to East LA.  I see all the water rushing down the channels to the ocean whenever it rains and it galls me that we don't try to capture more of it.  I wonder why someone smarter than me hasn't tried to build reclamation/recharge ponds along presumably state owned land next to the freeways that are just empty.  Couldn't someone engineer a funnel every 100' or so along the river to divert water into a culvert that would fill these basins and let the water soak?  Yeah, it would be filthy but again, there has to be a way to filter that trash out and let the water seep?  Here's a portion between the freeway and river as an example:

Anyways, thank you for attending my TED talk.  I'll go post something new to the GC forum.

i'm in the same boat as you with seeing all this water just run off into never neverland, while sacramento continues to tell us to reduce our personal usage. i hate it, and i really hate that there's no overall plan to try and fix as much of this as they can.

and then conspiracist in me says this is all being done on purpose so that they can control one more thing about how we live our lives in this state run by idiots (and the people who keep re-electing them), and then i'm just a bit more eager to move out of here once i retire.

I'm all for California agriculture, but not if when we're being told we're (the little guys) are the bad guys, yet we are essentially subsidizing the world for our bread basket.  From the googles, nearly 50% of California agriculture production was exported in 2017

And this doesn’t account for all the wic and food stamps that end up in Mexico. Pretty sure my wife’s family has probably funneled 1 million if we count all her primas and sobrinos

Good news is, meat is bad.  Everyone must go more plant based.  Global warming and some shit like that.  But water to agriculture bad.

Let’s get this party going!

Gavin Newsom's reparations committee will recommend handing out $223,200 per person to all descendants of slaves in California for 'housing discrimination' at a cost of $559BN - in nation's biggest restitution effort ever

The nine-member Reparations Task Force was formed by California Governor Gavin Newsom as part of the country's largest ever effort to address reparations for slavery.

A focus of the California task force has been 'housing discrimination' - and it has been estimated that it would cost around $569billion to compensate the 2.5 million Black Californians for setbacks between 1933 and 1977, according to the New York Times.

That is more than California's $512.8billion expenditure in 2021 - which included funding for schools, hospitals, universities, highways, policing and corrections.

However, discussions are still underway, and the panel is continuing to consider how payments should be made - some suggested tuition and housing grants or cash.

I’m almost certain they will spend it on furthering their education for their children and ensuring a better life for future generations
