Looks like he's showing some good stuff, but some serious control problems.

Looks like a repeat of his last outing. Command issues, falling behind then having to come over the plate with his FB.

Two errors in the inning not helping Lincecum here. But he's having a tough time putting away hitters and struggling with his command out of the gate again. 4 runs in the 1st, though I think only 2 runs should be earned.

Timmy comes back with a solid 2nd inning and strikes out the side in order.

He got a lot of swing and miss.

Cowart just went deep off top 30 prospect Braden Shipley.

Yeah, he was off in the 1st inning. After that he's been on point with his command.

True.  Unless, of course Lincecum comes up and does well so we can trade him for prospects.

Lincecum is done after 5 IP. Almost 100 pitches so it looks like his next start may be this weekend or next Monday for the Angels. 

btw, A.J. Achter sucks.

Which seems remote given that he hasn't been good since 2011.

Getting something of value in return for Lincecum, Chacin, and whoever else is going to be a FA would be great.

Actually, the ultimate dream scenario is that Lincecum performs well in the regular season, we make the playoffs, win the world series in part because of his amazing pitching, he signs a 2-year deal with an option with the Angels in the offseason.
