Botches are no laughing matter.

It only takes one maneuver being just a little off to cause serious damage, like a German suplex where the wrestler lands on his neck or head instead of his back.

I really can't believe how hurt he got here and honestly don't blame them shaking him the first couple of times because they're not doctors and you have to sell the moves.

The most famous tragedy in the business was of course Owen Hart falling to his death at a 1999 WWE PPV, as he was returning to his Blue Blazer roots.

It was Vince Russo who supposedly cut corners on the harness that Owen was wearing as he was lowered from the rafters to the ring before his match at that PPV. Russo wanted him to easily get out of the harness.

Uhh Russo, the Blue Blazer was a clumsy superhero. The harness needed to be totally secure, even to the point of him taking a lot of time to get out of it. Perfect intro for a clumsy superhero, and a totally safe one to boot!
