Are we paying Blanton 1 million bucks this year?

It looked like it to me on the payroll sheet I was looking at. Also if we are, does that go away if he signs somewhere? Another thread said he was trying a comeback. Not the biggest deal in the world, I was just so happy to see V Wells name go away but still saw Blanton.

Yep, we're paying him.  He was signed to a 2-year contract covering 2013 and 2014, with an option for 2015.  Obviously, the Angels aren't exercising the option, so there's a buyout.  Presumably, that's what the $1 million is for.
