You can fast forward to 2015 on the Angels web site...

Angels open in Seattle on April 6 and close in Texas on Oct. 4.  Inter-leagues games with the NL West.

I hate how these regular seasons go into October. Why can't they start the season on a March 30th and end it on Sept 27th?

Weather/rainout issues are often worse in March than they are in Sept/Oct. Even still I think they need to shave a couple games off of spring training (make them up with a couple more split squads)

They need to shorten the season by 12-16 games or so to eliminate 2-3 weeks of the season.  Weather problems don't affect the so cal home games but there were so many rainouts/snow outs on the east cost this year and likely will be some bad weather come playoff time.

They could go back to 154 games, I don't think it should be shortened any more than that though. I'd also like to see the divisonal round of the playoffs increased to 7 games and the wild card increased to 3 (all at park of top seed -- perhaps even as a doubleheader + rubber game with full expanded rosters).

Good thing about playing the NL West is that the Angels travel schedule will be much better.

I'll also be going to a fair number of games in Petco (actually closer to where I live than Anaheim).

Not one good weekend roadtrip outside of a quick weeekend up to SF

Boston, New York, Seattle are good.  Baltimore and Minnesota if you've never been, aren't bad.  Frankly, if you love baseball and you are following your favorite team on the road, none are bad.  I've had a blast everywhere I've gone.

And I'll be marking my schedule for July 6 & 7 here at Coors.

There's no way they'll shorten the season. That would mean less revenue for the owners and the players wouldn't make as much.
