Yes and in the last week the A's have won one whole game. They are 1-6 in their last 7 games. Or if I am allowed to go over a week back then you will see they are 2-8 in their last 10 games. What has Oakland done in the last week to make you think they are going to have a great weekend against Houston? I get it the Angels played bad, but use your head and not just your emotions.

For the hitters it has been not just a bad 2 games, but mostly a bad 44 games.

 

That is where I truly am concerned.

So this is what we do... we focus on one aspect of the game and in doing so lose some perspective. Yes, the offense has struggled, but the team has gone 26-18 during that stretch.  Obviously the pitching has carried this team - with a 2.88 ERA.  That's good news.  The object of the game isn't to see who has the best offense, it's about winning....

 

Concerns about the offense are warranted, but be more concerned if the team stops winning games all-together.

 

On the bright side the team has only been shut out once since the all-star break.

 

At the end of the day... I think the offense goes as Mike Trout goes.  Keep the faith.

Houston is a very good spoiler team. They got decent starters. They got Chris Carter. I honestly don't expect the Halos to win the last series against them.
