Yeah this sucked to hear. Knew he had retired over the last couple years because of Parkinsons, wasn't sure exactly what his condition was. Sad to hear.

Brazil, The Long Good Friday, Mona Lisa and Who Framed Roger Rabbit are the main favorites for me.

Second, as great as Anthony Hopkins is, he is a little to white to play Othello.

A good makeup job can do wonders. And Othello was a Moor. They were of mixed heritage, mostly Arab, and came from Morocco to Spain as early as the 8th century. Varying shades of black with all the intermixing over the centuries.

Such a good actor.  I remember being blown away that he was actually British when I found out years after watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  Thought he was actually faking the British accent in Hook.  

 

Same exact thing for me. I remember watching an interview with him around the time of Hook and I was thinking, "why is he still using that British accent?" Duh. Then it dawned on me that he had an accent. Then I realized I should have been in SPED classes growing up.
