If we paid politicians 10/20 million dollars a year as salary for congressman/politician

big corruption was the death penalty

small corruption was a one time warning to get fired, or just getting fired/banned

they had to anonymize themselves, no pictures, no names, people voted them in based on their words and performance, no stock trading

 

would that be a better situation?

lol.  For sure man.  This totalized opaque system paying 10’s of millions to these nameless, faceless people holding the levers of power will *FOR SURE* also figure out a way to police corruption.

They should simply execute any politician that increases their net worth by more than 50% while in office. Talk about term limits!!
