Movie scenes that are difficult to believe

Watching Raiders of the Lost Ark last night, and one of the worst scenes in the movie is when Indy swims to the U-boat, jumps on top of it, and it sails a fair amount of distance without submerging, something submarines don't commonly do. maybe being in nazi occupied waters allowed for that, but it's still a bit much to believe.

Submarines of that era didn't have the battery range to travel very far, at the most about 35 miles submerged. The U-Boats spent most of their hours on the surface using the diesel motors to propel and recharge the batteries.

whenever a ship in star wars goes to light speed and then they arrive at their destination, no one is ever thrown off balance by the sudden stop (or even the sudden take off). they don't even have to buckle themselves into a seat to do so.
