It's a shame these moves are being made out of scrambling due to injuries and potential COVID rather than earlier in the season to actually bolster the bullpen and help us win games.

I’m a little intrigued. I didn’t really see anything most of the year to make me think his stuff would play at the bigs but the videos from last few weeks that I’ve been able to find are showing a little more action with his fastball. 

Feel sorry for Criswell. He was definitely not ready for this yet and was a bit of a sacrificial lamb since his start lined up with an opening. At best I always saw him as sort of a Slegers 2.0 so kind of ironic he sort of took his roster spot. Peguero in same boat, kid was in A Ball to start the year. Rushed out of necessity. Naughton is funky enough he might have his moments, but overall probably is just another Dillon Peters type (who contrary to belief was solid for a dozen or so starts once upon a time).

As much as I want to see the kids play, the only ones that I think really stand to contribute are already up - Warren, Wantz, Detmers. Tyler *might* surprise, and I kinda want to see Ortega get a shot still. Marte was encouraging.
