Tell me about how you follow the Bible to a T and don't deviate.

I sin just like everyone else, though unlike the rainbow folk I don't expect anyone else is to take any type of "pride" in it

You sound like a Pharisee. Also, since when is government supposed to legislate a particular religious value?

Every culture in world history embraces a religious or pagan set of values. You better than anyone should understand is divided amongst believers and non believers. Muslims , pagans, atheist, and science worshippers aren’t on team Jesus and are firmly in the corner of lucifer. So yes all this butt sex, abortion ,   Child mutilation is glorifying and supporting Satan. Yes, all these queer priest and woke churches are doing a lot of satans heavy lifting as well.

Do you think God actually expects nations to make laws that are in accordance with biblical teachings?

Regardless, I don't think that is MMC's point anyways.

You may as well dump your bible in the trash at this point Taylor.

He absolutely does and western civilization has always been based on his law. The founders were overwhelmingly Christian and all understood that freedom depended on a just civilization. They agreed the government shouldn’t choose a particular church as a national religion. People forget that congress purchased and distributed Bibles long before these libs perverted the constitution.

Yes I agree in some sense. But that's never going to last forever unfortunately.

A nation's laws are made by its people. And the US isn't exactly getting more Christian as time goes on.

So, when was the U.S. "more" Christian? Be specific.

Are you really gonna argue the point that society is becoming less religious?

The amount of people who self-identify as a particular faith does not equal how much a country's government and values reflect a particular faith.

During slavery, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, etc., about 90% of the country identified as Christian.

You should read the book "Jesus and John Wayne" by Kristen Kobes Du Mez.

Yes those were major issues in the Democrat party.

So the answer is yes, you are going to argue that society is not becoming less religious. Good grief. There are a significant number of congressmen and congresswomen in the Democratic party that you couldn't get to say that late term abortion is wrong. Thats a fairly new thing.

And the predictable angle of "America was not more Christian a hundred years ago because slavery and racism existed."

Predictable because it's true?

The U.S. has never been a Christian nation. It isn't now. And it never will be.

Predictable because it's a surface level analysis with no thought behind it. The US is one of, if not the most powerful nation in the history of civilation. And with it, has done more good than the rest of the world combined. That is a direct result of its founding principles that were rooted in Christian values.

That isn't to say it has been perfect, because no institution of men is. But the nation is currently less religious now than ever, while also being more divided than ever by far.

I’ve always wondered how these dems come to the conclusion that the dem party is redeemable but America committed the unforgivable sin of slavery. I don’t believe God ever called slavery an abomination. Yet these woke libs bash America over slavery while promoting abominations
